Day 11: Wed 20 Dec - Canberra
12-17 deg C! Not a very exciting day. We were awake at the usual time, but lay in bed chatting as it was still raining and fairly cool, for "summer". We eventually arose and went about our morning routines, minus the exercise as it was still raining. While the temp was 34 deg when we were driving yesterday, it was only 14 deg while we were driving at one stage today; yes that's Canberra this time of the year. Whilst Wendy logged on to see if she needed to do any urgent work, Greg visited Bob for a catch up. As usual he made great coffee and served up Noeleene's fantastic Christmas cake. When Greg returned, we had lunch then a little rest. Just as we were getting ready to go back to Wendy's parents place, the man from the van over the road came to thank us for salvaging his awning during the storm yesterday. His van has a lot of hail damage to the on-side of the van as that was the side facing the storm. His awning also has some damage and when he rang his insura...
