Day 21: Sat 30 Dec - Canberra
12-25 deg C, sunny and very windy Ride: 30km; total: 361km Dad needed assistance with the garden watering system, so after washing and hanging out the sheets, we rode over there, taking the most expeditious route. Mum made us yummy scrambled eggs and bacon on toast for breakfast. Greg then got stuck into helping dad repair the watering system by replacing old piping with new stuff. We have to go back sometime to re-programme the automatic system. Before we left, we had a very late mornos. Greg went to meet Michael P, an old Army mate, at Belconnen while Wendy put her big girls pants on and rode home on her own! She didn't spare the horses, and was home in 40 minutes. Another load of washing was done, and various other domestic chores undertaken. We saw that our area at home was hit by severe storms this afternoon. Very happy to report that all seems well at the Hippo Farm and all our friends are safe and well with only some minor tree damage. No pictures today.
