Day 4: Wed 13 Dec - Glen Innes to Armidale, 98km; total towed: 1,400km

13-31 degC
Walk: 8.5km; total: 17km

We were up and on the road just before 8am and arrived, without incident, at Armidale Showground about 9:30am. The lady at check-in told Wendy it was her lucky day as they don't normally accept people before 10am. Wendy just smiled sweetly and said good morning!! Three minutes later the check-in procedure was completed and we were on our chosen site, set up and having mornos.

Greg then went in search of a pharmacy that would be able to give him his 6th COVID vaccination while Wendy caught up on some work and pers admin. Greg returned after having been injected with the new strain of COVID and we had lunch and a rest. After hanging out a load of washing, we headed out to Wollomombi Falls. After an out and back walk, we returned to the van for a quick wash before heading to Tattersalls for an early, by one night, 27th wedding anniversary dinner. A very well cooked dinner was had before walking home.
